Refund policy

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

DAMAGED PRODUCTS

In the rare event you receive a damaged product from us:

- Damaged items will be replaced at no charge.
- If a product is shipped incorrectly or arrives damaged, it will be replaced at no charge.
- A photo of the damage(s) is required to submit to our quality control department.
- We reserve the right to replace a damaged item (free of charge to the customer) over a direct refund of the purchase price.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you receive a defective product from us, including but not limited to:

- Broken straps or grab handles.
- Tears to the external leather structure (not caused by normal usage).
- Hardware defects (broken zippers, buckles, or press studs).

Defects in materials or workmanship will be replaced at no charge. A photo of the defect(s) is required to submit to our quality control department. We reserve the right to replace a defective item (free of charge to the customer) over a direct refund of the purchase price.

VIDEO UNBOXING REQUIREMENT FOR RETURNS AND REFUNDS

To ensure transparency and prevent misuse of the return policy, customers requesting a return, replacement, or refund must record a clear, unedited video while opening the package upon delivery.

The video should clearly show the outer packaging (including the shipping label), the sealed condition of the parcel, and the complete unboxing process.

The product and any reported damage, defect, or issue must be visible in the video.

This video serves as verification for our quality control team and is mandatory for processing any return, replacement, or refund request related to missing, damaged, or defective items.

Claims made without valid unboxing video evidence may not be eligible for refund or replacement.


HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

For issues not related to damage or defects, returns may be authorized by contacting our customer service department via our website under "Contact Us."

- Complete all the fields on our “Contact Us” page and submit, or send an email to theleatherfarm.uk@gmail.com. Provide your name, order number, and a brief message regarding your return request.
- Have photos of your item(s) ready. You will be asked to attach photos of all sides in good lighting, as well as any close-up photos of your product concerns/issues (e.g., scratches, tears, etc.).
- If your return is authorized, you will receive a return authorization number and the address of our returns warehouse.
- PLEASE DO NOT return items to the address on the package label. Misrouted returns are not our responsibility.
- The return shipping fee is the responsibility of the purchaser. For your safety, returns must include tracking.
- Items must be in the original packaging within your returned package (Note: Gift cards are not returnable).

REFUNDS (NOT GRANTED)

Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:

-Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

-Any item returned more than 15 days after return authorization.

-Any item that is part of a special promotional offer, bulk order, custom order, or separately invoiced order.

-To be eligible for a return or exchange, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the product. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

-Personalized items are non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.

-Return and Refund Charges Will Be Bearer by Customer: If the return or refund request arises due to reasons attributable to the customer—such as a change of mind, providing incorrect information, or misuse of the product—the customer will be the bearer of all associated return and refund charges. In such cases, the return or refund process may also be restricted or denied in accordance with our policy.

Please Note:

Due to the handcrafted nature of our genuine leather bags, slight variations in measurements may occur. As such, we do not accept returns for size issues. Additionally, once a bag has been personalized, it is non-returnable.

REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, subject to our stated policies.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please:

1. Check your bank account again.
2. Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
3. Contact your bank, as there is often processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us using the contact form on our website.

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be notified of your return.

ORDER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Our products are handcrafted by talented artisans in India. Orders are processed quickly to ensure timely delivery, so we are unable to cancel or modify an order after it has been submitted. If you made an error in your shipping address, notify us immediately. We will do our best to make the change, but it cannot be guaranteed.

OUR WARRANTY

We’ve designed our bags to last for decades, perhaps your entire life, using the highest quality leather and materials. Our warranty covers manufacturing and material defects for all of our leather goods for one year from the date you received your purchase. In the unlikely event of defects, they would typically arise in the first few months of use, certainly within one year. After that, proper maintenance will determine the lifespan of your product.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Our warranty does not cover:

- Normal wear and tear.
- Natural aging of the product.
- Damage caused by you or others.
- Animal damage, excessive use, or abuse.
- Overloading or unintended use of the product.
- Products modified by you or others.
- Items not purchased directly from The Leather Farm.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
